The city of Perth is situated at the hub of Scotland's motorway/trunk road system, to service the whole of the country's central industrial area. The Gartshore Building, on the harbour, is ideally located to service harbour traffic and for general warehousing and workshop operations. It is within the protected area of the newly created 'Flood Prevention Barrier'. The Gartshore building is equally well situated for non-harbour business, being only one mile from the town centre.
The Lythgoe family acquired the property circa 1959, as a receiving point for lime and fertilisers, which could then be distributed onwards to the farmers in the area. It was named The Gartshore Building in memory of the previous owners Joseph Gartshores & Sons. Originally one unit, the building has
been sub-divided into smaller units, all providing single-span bays.
The building is located on the harbour itself and next door to the harbour
master’s office.
Units are offered 'subject to contract' and ‘subject to availability’.
